CREOPLEX AND ANTIOXIDANTS
General Product Info (what is it):
CREOPLEX is a complex of Super Polyphenolic AntiOxidants extract produced from germinated seeds via a patented process. This is a novel compound that this chemically distinctly different from standard seed extracts, providing a number of positive benefits which may provide advantages when used in topical and ingestible personal care products.*
Recently a 2000 year old date palm seed was germinated in Israel. This seed rested, dormant for 2000 years only to have it's life-giving properties released simply by adding water and providing a suitable environment. Via a patented process, we capture these life giving compounds at the stage of the germination process when their antioxidant activity is highest. It is our belief that these powerful compounds are transformed within the plant, making them more water soluble in order to provide food and protection to the young shoot from the intense environmental stresses it will encounter as it grows.
The discovery of these compounds is a major break-through. Our recent studies and lab tests have shown that the antioxidant activity is much higher in our germinated extracts than in non-germinated extracts produced from the same seeds. In addition, our germinated extracts are much more water soluble than non-germinated ones, lending them to use in personal care products and dietary supplements.
Via our revolutionary manufacturing process we capture the life giving essence of germinated seeds. These compounds give a tiny plant sprout the ability to survive when it's most vulnerable even in the harshest environments. Our customers love the clean and clear moisturizing effect. The antioxidants keep skin refreshed and younger looking.
2000 year old plant linkIngredients (what’s in it?):
CREOPLEX contains a proprietary blend of Germinated Grapeseed Extract, Germinated Red Clover extract and Germinated Sunflower Seed extract. All of these are known to possess significant levels of Polyphenolic Antioxidants.
Polyphenolic antioxidants are potent, stable, plant derived antioxidants. These are the antioxidants found in wine, grape seeds, green tea, pomegranates, blueberries, pine sap etc. “Super” Polyphenolic AntiOxidants is a term that we use internally to describe the compounds that we are using in our formulas as they contain many times the antioxidant activity of standard seed extracts.
General Information on polyphenolic antioxidants:
There are over 4,000 distinct types of polyphenolic antioxidants. Polyphenol antioxidants are thought to be instrumental in combating oxidative stress, a process associated with the breakdown of tissue, both internally and externally. Think of oxidation of your cells the same way you would think of a piece of metal rusting. “Free Radicals” are very small molecules that come from a variety of sources such as sunlight, pollution, etc. Free Radicals break the bonds between the cells of our bodies (oxidation). AntiOxidants prevent free radicals from breaking these bonds. Hence the term “anti” oxidant.
Topical application of polyphenol antioxidants
It is widely believed that certain free radicals play a role in the process of aging. For example, when the skin is exposed to free radicals such as ultraviolet light. It has been shown not only that ingesting antioxidants in our diet and/or direct application to the skin or hair, result in protective effects from free radicals.
Sources of polyphenol antioxidants
The main source of polyphenol antioxidants is nutritional, since they are found in a wide array of phytonutrient-bearing foods. For example, most legumes; fruits such as apples, blackberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, cherries, cranberries, grapes, pears, plums, raspberries, and strawberries; and vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, celery, onion and parsley are rich in polyphenol antioxidants. Red wine, green coffee, chocolate, green tea, coffee, olive oil, bee pollen (honey) and many grains are alternative sources. The principal benefit of ingestion of antioxidants seems to stem from the consumption of a wide array of phytonutrients; correspondingly, the role of dietary supplements as a method of realizing these health benefits is the subject of considerable discussion.
Hair Care
How many of us are aware of what is actually happening to our hair? The truth is, probably very few of us are. Consumers visit salons for a wide variety of hairstyling services ranging from a simple cut to more involved processes such as coloring, relaxing or perming in order to create his or her desired hairstyle.
Coloring, highlighting and bleaching require the cuticles to be lifted to deliver the dye materials or bleaching agent. Perming, relaxing and Japanese Straightening (combining high heat with a chemical straightening process) require the cuticle to be lifted to allow the ‘active’ to penetrate into the cortex, changing the hair’s structure. In their healthy state, cuticles are not lifted and separated. After these types of styling processes are completed, an intense conditioning treatment is required to repair damage and condition the hair.

Dirt is Dirt. Hair is Hair. Your hair cleanser should know the difference. The ONLY goal for a hair cleanser is to remove dirt without causing damage. Most don’t. CREO Nano Pro-Tec Hair Cleanser with CREOPLEX does.

Other high quality, healthful ingredients and powerful antioxidants provide you with a luxurious wash which cleans without stripping protein or hair color. UVA/UVB suncreens and CREOPLEX- a proprietary blend of germinated seed extracts - lock in color and provide unparalleled protection from the fading and damage caused by sun, heat, styling and other environmental free-radicals. SUPER ANTIOXIDANT HAIR CONDITIONERS with CREOPLEX
All CREO products are SILICONE FREE.Over the last decade, silicones and silicone derivatives have become commonplace in personal care products. Dimethicones and cyclomethicones have moved from antiperspirants into liquid makeup, sunscreens, and lipsticks at significant use levels. In hair care, silicones have become the benchmarks for promising shiny silky hair, but they are not water soluble and do nothing to repair the health of your hair.
Now, thanks to the patented active ingredients in CREO Nano Pro-Tec Therapeutic Hair Masque, the desirable attributes of silicone, especially in terms of shine and feel characteristics, in addition to a number of other benefits that dimethicone and cyclomethicone do not provide, are attainable without the use of silicones.
CREO NANO PRO-TEC THERAPEUTIC HAIR MASQUE - THE SECRET WEAPON!
- Bonds damaged cuticles
- Smoothes hair fibers
- Enhances shine properties of damaged hair
When cuticles – the outer layer of the hair strand – are lifted, as occurs with regular use of sulfate shampoo, heat styling and many chemical treatments, hair protein is vulnerable. The hair strand can dry out and color loss is guaranteed. CREO Therapeutic Hair Masque is specifically designed to combat lifted cuticles. Its patented active ingredient was specifically engineered to seal down hair cuticles, thereby providing enhanced shine, greater health and protecting delicate protein. It has been proven in lab tests to adhere to the lifted cuticles, binding them together and smoothing out the hair fiber. Its high refractive index, in combination with its smoothing action, contributes to shiny, glossy hair that lasts through multiple cleansings.
CREO’s Hair Masque is NOT just for damaged hair, it is for any hair that is being stressed with heat styling, coloring or other stressful influences. It should be used twice weekly as part of your regular hair care regimen.
Hair Extenstions
Because CREO products contain no silicones, they are ideal for human hair extensions. Glues used in hair extensions are generally weakened by the use of silicone derivatives.
Skin Care
GENTLE SURFACTANTS: Surfactants are an essential part of a liquid skin cleansing system, but common surfactants, known as sulfates are extremely strong detergents that over dry the skin and remove the natural moisture barrier in the process of cleaning.
CREO NANO PRO-TEC skin cleansers with CREOPLEX include ultra mild surfactant blends that deliver a rich lather that removes surface impurities without drying and helps the skin maintain its natural moisture balance by replenishing the skin’s lipid layer.
CREOPLEX: A variety of stresses, including sun and environmental pollutants bombard us every day with free radicals, compromising skin health and hydration. CREO Skin Cleansers contain CREOPLEX - a proprietary blend of safe, extremely potent and protective antioxidants derived from germinated seed extracts - which helps protect skin from free radicals.
CONCENTRATED FORMULAS:CREO formulas are highly concentrated, providing a luxurious cleansing experience and great value. A little CREO goes a long way.
AROMATHERAPY: Using only essential oils for fragrance, CREO products surround the user with aromatic essence creating a clean fresh state of mind.
